There are loads of items in the Lands of Androhil. Here are a few more common basic items. (weapons and potions listed elsewhere)

Beginners please note how items are shown when full, empty, in use (in the case of a torch it shows as burning) or whatever it may be. Each item also has a number (eg #7213) and can be referred to by either the name or the number. (so can monsters and everything else in game).

Holy book

The holy book tells of the creation of the world, the meddling of the gods into mortal lives and the adventures and wisdom of holy men from the past. It is the definitive guide to all priests and wannabees. (Note: To increase your religion skill, issue the order 'use holy book'. Such studying will end your turn.)

Patch of dragon skin (patch of scaly green skin)

Dragon skin is by far the most prized kind of reptilian hide. It is strong and though, yet subtle and best of all: completely fireproof. Dragon skin is sought by kings and nobles to have them fashioned into splendid suits of armor. Many adventurers have died trying to obtain such skin and anyone who has gotten his hands on some should treasure it deerly.

Spellbooks come in a variety of shapes, sizes and coverings. The most common style is leather-covered, but wood or felt are also seen. They are used by magicians to record spells, or by apprentices as studying material.

Mana crystals radiate light and illuminate a radius of 1 square.

Glowing blue crystals, about the size of a thumb, can sometimes be found when certain magical creatures die to violence. It is claimed that eating them provides many magical benefits, although some prefer to save them for use in spells and magical items.
